In the tradition of storytelling and independent voice, Sundance Resort has partnered with the Bluebird Café in Nashville to bring a taste of musical storytelling to Utah. Every year Sundance Resort brings a little bit of Nashville to Utah with a stellar line up of singers/ songwriters/ musicians, who share their history, music and stories during the Bluebird Café Concert Series.

Lionel Cartwright – Lionel charted twelve singles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles and Tracks charts in the early 1990s, including a number one single in 1991 called “Leap of Faith.” Cartwright’s debut album in 1989 produced such top singles as “You’re Gonna Make Her Mine,” which charted at number 45 on the country charts, followed by three straight Top 20 hits, including “Like Father, Like Son,” “Give Me His Last Chance,” and “In My Eyes.”
Tia Sellers- Tia’s hit single “I Hope you Dance” won every conceivable award including the Grammy, CMA, ACM, NSAI, ASCAP and BMI song of the year. She’s also written singles that include Alan Jackson’s “That’ll Be Alright,” The Dixie Chicks’ “There’s Your Trouble,” and Kenny Wayne Shepherd’s “Blue on Black,” all of which went to number one. Other artists who have recorded her songs include Martina McBride, Trace Adkins, Wynona, Patty Loveless, Vince Gill and Diamond Rio, among others.
Mark Selby – Mark’s career is one of unusual depth and diversity. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, he has written career-defining songs for artists in multiple genres and frequently contributes signature guitar work to 'Music City' recording sessions. Selby may be best known for a string of #1 Mainstream Rock singles co-written with blues-rocker Kenny Wayne Shepherd, including "Blue On Black."

Come early to the 2012 Bluebird Café Concert Series on July 20th and enjoy a special BBQ dinner at Sundance Resort. The tasty BBQ dinner menu includes hamburgers, chicken breasts, bratwurst, coleslaw, baked beans and potato salad. Dinner begins at 6:30 pm on the night of the performance and can be purchased along with your ticket for an additional $15 per person.

Folding chairs are not permitted; please bring blankets if you prefer lawn seating.
